Je ne la quitte plus !
Je porte ma veste Explorer depuis des années déjà et je ne suis pas prête de m'en séparer. Elle n'a rien à envier aux meilleures vestes de randonnée sur le marché: imperméable, coupe-vent, ultra-respirante notamment grâce aux zips sous les bras, je l'adore!
J'apprécie également la coupe qui me donne une bonne liberté de mouvement et me couvre les fesses en, surtout quand il pleut ou qu"il y a du vent. Je la porte actuellement enceinte de 30 semaines avec l'insert de grossesse, et je ne la quitte plus!

Auch für Kleinkinder top
Ich habe die Jacke schon mal bewertet und bin mittlerweile noch zufrieder damit! Mein Kind verschwindet auch mit 1,5 J gerne unter der Regenjacke, meist auf dem Rücken. Und in der kompletten Kombi mit Jacke Explorer, Regenrock Explorer und den passenden Toddler-Regenschuhen (für die Füße, die mittlerweile rausschauen) spazieren wir gemütlich durch den Regen. Und ohne Kind bekomme ich für die Jacke ständig Komplimente, weil sie ohne Einsatz eine tolle Figur macht, auch dank der Farbe.
Das ist genau das, was ich mir für den Preis gewünscht habe. Sehr empfehlenswert als langfristige Investition!

Qualität & Komfort
Die Jacke wird in ihrer Qualität und Durchdachtheit absolut dem Preis gerecht! Mit den beiden Einsätzen (und danach ohne Einsatz) plane ich die Jacke für die nächsten Jahre zu nutzen. Aktuell passt sie in der 20. SSW gerade noch so ohne Einsatz.
Die Lüftungen unter den Armen sind jetzt bei Sommerregen Gold wert. Ansonsten ist auch der Schnitt sehr schön tailliert und lässt trotzdem Platz für die Brust.
Wichtiger Hinweis zur Größe: ich trage normalerweise M, bei der Explorer jedoch eindeutig S.

- Membrane: 100% polyurethane
- 3rd layer: 100% polyester (virgin)
Fully seam taped - all seams waterproof
- 30 degrees in the washing machine (easy care)
- Use detergent for functional clothing
- No fabric softener
- Do not use a wool/fine detergent (damages the membrane)
To maintain water repellency, tumble dry on a low setting after washing or iron on the outside, avoiding the seams. Re-impregnation with FC-free products, e.g. Nikwax

I’ve been wearing my Explorer jacket for years now, and I’m nowhere near ready to part with it. It easily holds its own against some of the best hiking jackets on the market: waterproof, windproof, and highly breathable, especially thanks to the underarm ventilation zips. I absolutely love it!

Yes. Every mamalila babywearing jacket for moms can also be worn during pregnancy.
Depending on the model, the jacket adapts to your growing bump in different ways. Some include a pregnancy insert, others feature expandable side zippers, while some are designed with enough room from the start.
After your baby is born, you won't need a new jacket. Simply continue wearing the same one with the babywearing insert—first for front carrying, then for back carrying.

You can use a mamalila babywearing jacket for as long as you carry your child.
Depending on the model, the babywearing insert is suitable from birth up to around two years of age.
How long you'll actually use it depends mainly on your child's size and your family's carrying routine. Once your child prefers to walk most of the time, simply remove the insert and continue wearing your jacket as a regular outdoor jacket. That's what makes it such a sustainable, long-lasting companion.
Under a mamalila Explorer babywearing jacket, your baby has plenty of room to breathe — as long as the jacket is adjusted correctly.
- Your baby's face should never be covered by fabric. You can easily adjust the height of the baby insert to ensure this.
- The baby hood can also be adjusted to protect against wind and rain without covering your baby's face.
- Your baby's airways must remain clear at all times. Our baby inserts can be adjusted individually, allowing the Explorer babywearing jacket to fit snugly while leaving plenty of space around your baby's head and face.
A good rule of thumb: You should always be able to see your baby's face and easily kiss the top of their head. Be sure to check regularly that your baby's nose and mouth remain uncovered—especially with newborns.
Our softshell babywearing jacket does not replace a baby carrier — it simply protects both of you from wind, rain, and cold.
Your baby should always be carried ergonomically in a suitable baby carrier or wrap.
Make sure your baby is positioned high enough, sits in the recommended M-shaped position with knees higher than the hips, and can breathe freely at all times.
