With its zip-in baby insert, the Explorer Dad adapts easily to front and back babywearing. The insert adjusts to fit your baby’s size and closes all the way to your chest for full coverage and warmth. We added a drawstring at your baby’s neck to block out drafts, and the fully adjustable & unique rain guard hood fastens with wind straps—keeping your little one dry even in sideways rain.

The Explorer Dad doesn’t just look like a serious hiking jacket—it performs like one. A 3-layer laminate with a 15,000 mm water column, fully taped seams (including the baby insert), and high breathability keeps you dry and comfortable through any weather. Underarm pit zips help regulate temperature, and the adjustable visor hood protects you from heavy rain. Cinch the hem to seal out wind and cold, and trust every technical detail to keep you moving with confidence.

- Fully seam taped - all seams waterproof
- 30 degrees in the washing machine (easy care)
- use detergent for functional clothing
- no fabric softener
- do not use a wool/fine detergent (damages the membrane)
- to maintain water repellency, tumble dry the dry jacket on a low setting after washing or iron on the outside, avoiding the seams
- Re-impregnation with FC-free products, e.g. Nikwax
