4-in-1 functionality for every outdoor moment
With two included inserts – one for pregnancy, one for babywearing in front and in the back – the Explorer adapts to every phase of motherhood. The baby insert adjusts to your little one’s size from birth up to 24 months, and zips up to your chest to keep you dry and protected. A drawstring at your baby’s neck blocks out cold drafts, while our unique rain guard hood fastens securely with wind straps, shielding your baby from even the strongest rain.

Designed by moms who understand what it means to be outdoors with a baby, the Explorer brings together the best of a technical hiking jacket with thoughtful babywearing details. The 3-layer laminate fabric offers full weather protection with a 15,000 mm water column and taped seams throughout to keep you both dry. Pit zips under the arms help regulate your temperature on the go, while the adjustable visor hood fits snugly to your head for reliable rain coverage. The hem can be cinched shut to block out cold air, and every element is designed for comfort, freedom of movement, and real outdoor functionality.

The Explorer is crafted from a smart combination of fiber-to-fiber recycled polyamide and virgin polyester, and features a high-performance waterproof membrane that is completely free of PTFE and harmful fluorocarbons. Qualität & Komfort
Die Jacke wird in ihrer Qualität und Durchdachtheit absolut dem Preis gerecht! Mit den beiden Einsätzen (und danach ohne Einsatz) plane ich die Jacke für die nächsten Jahre zu nutzen. Aktuell passt sie in der 20. SSW gerade noch so ohne Einsatz.
Die Lüftungen unter den Armen sind jetzt bei Sommerregen Gold wert. Ansonsten ist auch der Schnitt sehr schön tailliert und lässt trotzdem Platz für die Brust.
Wichtiger Hinweis zur Größe: ich trage normalerweise M, bei der Explorer jedoch eindeutig S.
Absolut empfehlenswert!
Waterproof 3-layer-laminate, 15.000 mm water column
- 1st layer: 86% RECYCLED polyamide (nylon), 14% elastane
- Membrane: 100% polyurethane
- 3rd layer: 100% polyester (virgin)
Fully seam taped - all seams waterproof
- 30 degrees in the washing machine (easy care)
- Use detergent for functional clothing
- No fabric softener
- Do not use a wool/fine detergent (damages the membrane)
To maintain water repellency, tumble dry on a low setting after washing or iron on the outside, avoiding the seams. Re-impregnation with FC-free products, e.g. Nikwax
